Something fishy - animated text

Here is another example in the text generator - pan/crop series.

The fish came from a free font caught in the net (ha ha).
I've made several tracks, each panning at a slightly different speed, and the Wave FX applied to all.
I realize I ought to play around more with the wave settings to get a good overall rhythm, but I don't have preview power to see all these effects for real until I render the thing. So I leave it as it is, hoping it'll inspire your creactivities.

You might notice I've pulled down the opacity of most tracks to avoid chaos. They were all eating each other.

I've cleaned it up a little. I think you'll agree it looks better now. Look at both versions and you'll see what I mean.

Very nice, TorS. You're the king of making fonts dance in Vegas. Is this for an educational piece?

If you haven't seen this, check it out:

I think you've just raised everyone's expectations as to what I might do next.

When it dawned on me that I could use all kinds of True Type fonts in Vegas, I began to explore possibilities. The short examples I've posted are just that: playing with a new-found toy. So it is an education project of sorts: Educating myself.

If anyone's still interested, I've uploaded a zip of the lot.

BTW, I looked at Bembo's Zoo. Great stuff. One could do that in Vegas, BUT we need a way to anchor the letters so the line lengths and heights doesn't re-adjust each time you introduce a change. This is important, and it shouldn't be too complicated a function to add?
