I had to reinstall WindowsXP (Pro) and afterwards I can't import .mp3's into Vegas5 and I'm missing the SonicFoundry plug-in effects I had working with AcidPro 4. Can anyone enlighten me with what's going on here? I have the previous versions of Vegas (3 and 4) and AcidPro (2.0) but I didn't reinstall those since I figured I would only use the latest versions. I also had Sound Forge XP (4.5, I think) before but not sure if I can find it now. Might that be related? Someone on CreativeCow said I should uninstall anything Sony or Sonic Foundry and related registry files and then reinstall. I'm not sure how to know what registry files are related to these products and I don't want to hose my machine and have to reinstall Windows again! Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated!
