Somewhat Minor Sony Vegas Light Ray FX Caveat

previously Brought up by Cheinworks (some time ago) I have noticed that the light ray filter is resolution dependant (please let me know if I'm wrong) unless it's something else that causes the problem. The higher the resolution the footage - the shorter (or less) the light ray effect, affects it.

As I said - let me know if I'm wrong.

BTW - I sure wouldn't mind seeing a Parent Filter button too :)

Have a good one folks

Dave

BTW - this is not raggin on Vegas - I've done more in it in the last few weeks than I really ever thought was going to be done from a single editing program in it's price range - or considerably higher price range for that matter.

I've been in touch with them. This and one other effect (mosaic, if i recall correctly) share the same bug. The fix is in the works and may make it into the next update. I sure hope sooner rather than later. I've got a couple of HD projects i've been sitting on for a long time because of this.
