Sonic Foundry Dennis, updates for 4.0?

I'm very happy with VV3. There have been many excellent improvement suggestions for the next release in this forum though. Is there a release date planned for 4.0 yet? Will there be a 3.5? Are SF's software developer's working on integrating some of this forum's suggestions into the next version?

SF policy is to not divulge any info about future feature sets or delivery dates, sorry.

well I will divulge 2 suggestions for ver. 4.0

1. [audio] timestretching brought over from acid
2. [video] frame layer paint option broght over from Viscosity

the core technology is obviously there, it would be so much more convienent to operate those functions from within Vegas and not have to switch from program to program...

What time stretching do you want in Vegas that it doesn't already offer? You can already stretch by length, percentage, semitones, cents, pitch, etc. and you can preserve or change length and pitch independantly of each other.
