After buying and using VF2, then buying and using VV3 for the past 12 months, ive run accross a problem.
Ive een using a Dazzle DV Bridge for the past 12 months, capturing with VF capture and then moving to VV3 capture, had very few problems.
Ive just bought a new Canopus ADVC-100 to get better results on my analogue to DV transfers, however, when i capture with this unit with either VF2 or VV3, the captured picture is about 30% darker that if i capture it with the Dazzle with VF and VV.
At first i thought it was the Canopus and have exchanged it twice but have the same problem.
I then tried capturing with Windows movie maker and both the capture form the dazzle and the Canopus are the same, although the Canopus definatly has the uppper edge.
So have concluded that it must be the capture programmes in the VF and the VV thats cusing the problems.
Have you come across this problem before or any ideas as to why this is happenening??
any help appreciated
regards
Simon
