sony desktops rz series..nec firecard.panasonic dv cam

dying to buy vegas + dvd,but theres no mention of compatibilty with panasonic dv cam {pvdv851}and new sony rz24 computer?anyone could bring up to date i would be most grateful.....

Vegas works with most every computer---I am not sure if the Nec firewire card uses TI chips---that would be nice. Remember---for serious NLE work you will need a drive that you use strictly for video capture.
