I am getting a IOCTL error when I try to write a DVD using my Sony DWU14A drive. The error message is virtually the same as those posted by other users about a year ago. I don't know how to update my firmware, if that is what I need to do - I am running ver. 1.0d right now. The drive is in a generic firewire/usb enclosure connected to an HP laptop 1.8 GHz AMD. If anyone knows how to fix the problem, fixed the problem in the past, or can help me in any way, I would appreciate it. I don't want to make any more coasters.
