Sony DRU-500-AX Not Recognized: RESOLVED

DVD Architect does not recognize my Sony DRU-500-AX drive. My Pioneer A04 appears on the devices list but the Sony DRU-500-AX does not appear at all. Other DVD burning software on my machine recognizes the Sony as well as the Pioneer. Does anyone have a clue as to a solution?

Problems with my Sony DRU-500-AX have been solved. It seems that it must be plugged into the IDE port of the motherboard and NOT into a PCI-based IDE port. Burn to a DVD+R/W worked fine as far as I can tell.

This problems are usual related of old drivers in your machine ( Veritas DLA ou Easy CD Creator - Direct CD )
