Was it something like "Hollywood Effects?"
R0cky wrote on 8/13/2010, 7:46 AM
I think it was from NewBlue.

I dint think it was either of those, could be wrong.I think the New Blue FX was one of the choices available at the time( these were video FX plug ins) and I chose the Sony FX library. I will try a search for Hollywood Fx and see if it turns up.
Thanks

"Hollywood Effects" may have been for Sound Forge.

sfxsampler.zip was the name of the file in which it was packaged.

The Hollywood Effects that I'm familiar with were a part of, and an accessory to, Pinnacle Studio products.

Hi Derm

In April this year, I originally bought Movie Studio 9 HD Platinum Pro Pack which came with New Blue FX. I have just installed it on computer 1 which has Movie Studio and it lists it in the Video Event FX folder. I recently upgraded to Vegas Pro 9, which is installed on computer 2. I have just installed New Blue FX on computer 2 but New Blue FX does not show up in the folder, so it looks as though it is specific to Movie Studio.

Regards

Ken

Ken, the bundled products are 32-bit only since they came with Movie Studio. Did you install the 64-bit version of Vegas on computer 2? If yes, that's why they don't show up. If no, they should show up fine.

Thanks, it was sfxsampler as Steven pointed out.

"Hollywood Effects" came with SONAR. I was upgrading a bunch of software after I got Windows 7 Pro and got confused. Glad you sorted it out.

A Steven Myers reported, sfxsampler.zip was the name package. It came as a bonus with original VegasPro9 offer. A collection of fairly ordinary sound effects.
