Start | Programs | Sony | Utilities | Migration Tools | Register Sony DirectX Plug-Ins

Does that fix your problem?

Yes except my Sony resonant filter is missing now. Any clue where it went? South? ; )
Everything else looks good. But I really need my Res filter for my project for a client.
Help? and thank you.

You should have a shared audio plug-in named sfresfilter.dll. In a standard installation of Vegas 5, you'll find this file in C:\Program Files\Sony\Shared Plug-Ins\Audio. It should be version 1.0.0.97 for Vegas 5.0a (right click on the file | Properties | Version tab).

Try dragging and dropping this file in Vegas 5, click Yes to register it, and restart Vegas. Does that work?

This worked thank you. It was actually hiding under the sonic foundry folder rather than the Sony folder since it was attached to vegas 4 shared plugs.
Thank you though for the heads up. I mean that!!! Love Sony!!
