The FX’s we have are great but I would really like to see some new stuff as part of Vegas pro

My beg list

1. Stabilising fx
2. Mesh warp and corner pin tracking and morphing

[some el cheapo aps do this] surly these can be added

edit

On the page peel transition please add a transparency value to the highlight colour so that we can actually use them in projects

1. Stabilising fx For a freebie, we got this with John Meyer's DeShaker? Yer wanna buy, there are plenty!

2. Mesh warp and corner pin tracking and morphing Well there IS Deform Fx and Spherize Fx in Vegas. They are kinda worth exploring. But an actual "Mesh Fx", that would be good. Sure, a Morphing Fx would be neat. Satish had Morphing - I couldn't make it work. I'm guessing the drawbridge went up on these FX sometime back. People have made do with Frameserving out to AE. As more people use alternatives, there might not be the appeal to Madison to extend the FX "buffet"? If I now look through my FX listings I have plugs from Magic Bullet, ColorLAb, AutoLevels, Boris Graffiti, NeatVideo, New Blue, Pixelan, Prodad and a bunch of WAX plugs that I haven't been able to use in V8, as they crash my system.

Added to which, for actual "Video/Film" looks, there are also tons of freebie Fx chains you can download. And again, I must assume that Madison:

a) Are aware of this

b) Consider that this side of things is being met "partially" by alternatives, and therefore aint a priority.

But, I support your wishes, of course I do.

In this age of personal identity concerns, a Motion Tracker FX for a Pixel or Blur would be essential. However that ISN'T creative and a piece of "tooling", really?

But we do have red eye remover. Now, just where is that located?

Grazie

Howzit Grazie!

How do I get my hands on John Meyer’s DeShaker?

Sony can Morph on its own up to a point. “I did a little morph clip one face to another direct in vegas uploading to Vimeo right now”
Quick and easy but a mesh warp would be great

If I need a mesh I use AE

Rory, I'm with you on corner pin tracking and frame stabilization.

Morphing to do it right almost needs a 3-D program. (ie: trueSpace or blender)

"where is Red Eye remover?"

Grazie,
It's in the pull down menu of Tools I believe (not at home). Click on red eye event, go to Tools->Red Eye Remover->hit the + to zoom in->position the cursor in the middle of the red->click, drag out to edge of red->release left mouse button and voila, red eye gone. You can move the box around with the arrow keys to adjust size/placement also. Takes seconds to do but you have to do it for each eye. Hope that helps.
