Sony micro MV Camera

I have installed the Vegas Movie Studio 4.0 today 4-24-05.

It will not recognize my camera which is a:

Sony DCR IP5 NTSC Micro MV

Digital Movie Camera

Any ideas or help?

How are you hooking the camera up to the computer? USB or Firewire? If you are using USB, you should be using firewire.

This link might be of interest. There's very little on the market that can handle MicroMV - Sony's Movie Shaker and a special edition of Pinnacle's Studio are the only ones I know of. If you want to do video editing this is not the camera for you.
