Sony Stabilize Issue

I'm using the current version of Vegas 11 but have run into a problem when trying to apply the Stabilize function to a clip. Regardless of which preset I use, the "Apply" button appears grayed out and I see no result in the clip.

Any suggestions on how to this video effect? It doesn't seem to work in the same way it did in Vegas 10.

You did apply the FX as a "Media FX", corrrect?

From memory, with 11 you need to 'create subclip' first, then 'apply as media FX'.

Creating a subclip first was the right answer. It worked differently in Vegas10 when as a byproduct of the effect you were asked if you wanted to create a subclip.

Problem solved...thanks!
