Sony suggestion for this site

As i just posted a reference to previous thread in a another post.
I wondered why we dont have a box in the search function to look up by message id number. for example this on is # 415614

It seems it would be easy to do this then we can post that number in reference to an older post and people can find it by the search function. ie: look at post # 415614

We already do. Just copy and paste your message post number ID in the first "Search" field and select Vegas Forum. Just did it. It works. G

I have a different suggestion then: e-mail alerts.

I can't find anywhere for this forum to e-mail me upon a new reply to my post. I often forget to check back every day and by the time I'm back, my post has already fallen off the page and I have to go find it.

just click on your name (in blue) and it will show you every post you have ever started or responded to. If people like Douglas or gratzie were to get email alerts for every thread they have had something to do with, they would not have inbox room for anything else!

Just take place the URL in ID,it's faster

ie:

http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=415614

then:

http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=4&MessageID=415609
