Sony TD-20 - side by side full? 3D

Hi....

I am about to import some 3D footage from my Sony TD-20 video camera into pro 12. I plan on burning a 3D blu-ray. I am unsure as to what type of 3D footage my Sony TD-20 shoots. I see that I can choose between:

Side by side half
Side by Side Full,
Line Alternate
Left Only
Right Only

I am not at all interested in anaglyphic.

If someone could let me know which of the above formats is correct, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

I used side by side half. I believe pro movies are done that way. I chose: MVC 1280x720 60p 25 Mbps video stream. Seem to work fine for me.

Are you talking about commercial Blu Ray? They are not SBS. They're full frame MVC

Well, they may be. Don't know for sure. But, I know that the settings I used above worked fine on my 3D television. I used those settings and burned them on blue ray discs. I seem to recall somewhere on here, that side by side was the best way to do it. I'm new to this, too, but side by side and the above settings should get you where you need to be.

Yes, we do know for sure.
There are quite a few ways to attain 3d. and that includes SBS.

SBS was developed some time ago and uses 1/2 a frame for each eye view. In other words each eye view is only 1/2 the resolution.

Commercial Blu Ray discs use FULL frame packed MVC (which is 2d backwards compatible... unlike SBS). Each eye receives full frame resolution (depending on your tv type... active or passive)

The TD20 shoots 2 full 1920 x 1080 interlaced streams and is capable of outputting full framed packed 1080i video. Unfortunately for me my projector (like many others) will not accept 1080 interlaced frame packed. It will only accept 1080 progressive as frame packed. So is there anyway to produce full frame packed MVC from Vegas? I also have the TD20 and can produce side by side just fine. I just can't figure how to produce frame packed from Vegas.

I've been out of 3d for a while now so I have forgotten more than I remember, but the last time I got into it, there was no way to duplicate full framed packed from Vegas, or other editors for that matter.

There are a few threads in the AVS forum (3D source component section) on the subject, but I'm pretty sure the full frame packed MVC has been reserved for commercial Blu Ray applications.
