Sony/VASST Event at NAB

Guys n' Gals,
Lots of emails coming about the NAB event; it *IS* happening, it *is* on Monday night, and apologies for the delay in announcing. Seems last year there was a small issue (second time in five years) with the fire marshal and body volume in the room. We've got that all sorted out now, and you'll see/hear an announcement very soon.
Start planning your Monday night now...it's gonna be a different experience than we've done before, with live entertainment, more food, and some very cool presentations (all very short, I promise). :-)

I've really enjoyed the SCS/VASST event the two years I've been to it, so I'm sure it will be another winner. And I was booked (room and flight) to go to NAB this year but then had to cancel.

Have loads of fun! And if it isn't too much trouble, a short report here after-the-fact would help folk like me live vicariously.

I've never been to NAB but may be in Vegas during this time frame. If I don't attend the conference is it possible to attend the Sony/VASST event? Is there a charge?

Find some vendor's NAB code that will let you register for free.

Register now. You may want to use a different email address as you'll get some random spam from signing up.

*You might not need to register for a NAB pass to get into the Sony/VASST event... but I'd register anyways to check out NAB you know? [edit: you do need a pass.]

You may need to register for the Sony/VASST event or RSVP for it. (I guess details for that are coming soon.)

you cannot get into the building without an NAB pass. You don't need a pass for the party, but the party is inside the building, therefore you'll need to register. There are many free codes out there.
We have one, I just don't know what it is, and don't have it on my laptop up here in the great white north. sorry!
