Sony Vegas 9 crashes upon rendering

Ok, here's the situation(I'll make this concise as possible). I have Sony Vegas Platinum 9. My Alaska cruise video has 308 clips, mostly .mts(which might be part of the problem, I understand). I've worked for weeks on this project and now it's complete - except for the rendering. Sony Vegas crashes immediately upon a render attempt. I downloaded the trial version of Sony Vegas Pro 11 three weeks ago for rendering purposes(and to also check it out) and did a small test render which worked. Now the project is complete, but Pro 11 says the trial period has expired and now it won't let me get it back on my computer. I'm stuck - and I don't want to lose the weeks of editing I just did - I just want to render in .wmv so I can burn it to DVD. Any help? Thanks.

WMV is not a proper format for DVD -- all DVD is MPEG-2 video.

I've also tried to render in .mpg & .mp4 and the same thing happens - first time in 2 years I've had this problem - I'll try mpeg2.

You'll also need to provide a list of your system specs. VMS9 had the first AVCHD (mts) support built in, if I recall. You can always download VMS11 and see if it works for you. You have a full 30 day? trial. You can just open up your project in the new version to see if it renders. You can have both versions of VMS installed simultaneously.
