During editing or during rendering process. Media goes offline and says "media offline". Saw someone else had the same issue 5 years ago with no fix. Pinpointed Sony Vegas as the problem. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to see if it fixed. Tried to replace offline media and find the file deleted. Video ONLY somehow files including audio are all intact. Video is not moved elsewhere it is deleted entirely. Its not deleted manually. Not even accidentally lol. I notice in the middle of a project or just so most recently IN THE MIDDLE OF A RENDER about 75% of the way to completion Sony vegas deleted the file it was rendering. This happened recently where I started a render and the video deleted itself as well but at the time I wasn't at the pc but figured id watch a movie while my project rendered only to come back and find my project obliterated. This time I saw it deleted mid render and can confirm I still didn't touch anything and the file deleted itself from the pc. Any known fix to this ive overlooked?! Its really frustrating wasting all this time on projects and dont want to look into other software as ive already purchased this one some years ago but its looking like a pretty good option if it happens again after this reinstall.
