Sony Vegas development team

I was just wondering, with Sony purchasing Vegas from Sonic Foundry, did they let the Vegas Sonic Foundry team go and hire a whole new Sony development team?

The reason I ask is I was just curious about future developments of the software. I'd hope the same people were kept on to further work on Vegas updates/new releases as they did such an amazing job to begin with. Or did the Sonic Foundry Vegas programmers leave for bigger and better things.

Anyone know??

Just from memory... shortly after the sale one of the SonicFoundy guys I think mentioned almost everyone stayed. So I think its the same team with a new logo on their shirt that's all.
