Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum blank register

So I got Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD, and every time after I install it and go to register it, it gives me the box that says you need to register this. I click next, and I get a blank box, with no register information on it.

I have reinstalled it and restarted my computer multiple times.

^ That is the blank screen I get when I go to use it, where the register screen should be.

I have the program on the disk, and got the free trial off the Sony site, and each one has the same problem?

Standard Advice:

Dump Cookie Exceptions
Enable Cookies
Turn off Antivirus Software (McAfee is a baddie)
Make sure you are connected to the internet
If all else fails, register by phone or directly on the website

Post back if further problems.

^ The problem is that I can't get far enough that I can access the register screen, so I can't register online. I need the machine ID, which is after the register screen.

Machine ID should come up automatically, iirc, so if Vegas can't access it and antivirus is turned off, you may need to contact Sony Customer Service. Sorry.
