I am sick to the bitter death with Vegas pro 11 before & now got 12 upgraded crashing or not responding bugs galore on windows 7 64bit or my new windows 8 pro 64bit. (rant over)

I have installed new windows 8 pro 64bit & have a good spec pc (see spec on page)using 2 vertex 3 ocz solid hardrive full speed sata III vegas installed on C: drive windows 8 & spare drive for storage etc.

Q1 what is the best way to install Vegas pro 12 for windows 8, (it is running admin / windows 7 compatibility) & the best place for newblue applications to be installed / what to choose to install from new blue menu?

Q2 Video playback is a sluggish / new blue titler pro 2 titles open FX or normal (I have i7-3820 (QUAD CORE) CPU@3.60GHz - 32 GB MEM - AMD RADEON HD XFX 7970 black edition?


I am working with 3D video media from my Sony HDR-TD10.

Any idea's to improve performance / stability would be gratefully appreciated.
