Sony Vegas Pro 12 "Unknown Publisher" Error

Here are my specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit
System Manufacturer: VMware, Inc.
System Model: VMware Virtual Platform
Processor: Intel
Memory: 1024MB RAM
Card name: VMware SVGA 3D
Manufacturer: VMware, Inc.

I just installed the updated version of Sony Vegas Pro 12 build 770 on my computer, and when I try to open the program, I get this message:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/elp675xs80sqy97/SV%20Pro%2012%20Error.tiff

(If it helps to know this, in order to use Sony Vegas, I have Vmware Fusion 5 to imitate Windows 7 on my Mac OSX.)

When Sony Vegas finally loads, none of my media files show in the Explorer tab, which should detect that my files are in the Vmware folder. The Video fx, Transitions, Project Media, Media Generator tabs are blank as well. Then, when I click on the video timeline, Vegas crashes. Here's the information:

I also send this report when Sony Vegas finally crashes:

If anyone needs more information, please tell me and I'll try to give more details about this problem. Oh, and also, I didn't blur out my name in the screencap above, so please don't give out my personal information. Thank you.

First, turn off UAC.
You only have 1Gb of RAM for your VM? Vegas specs call for 4Gb with 8Gb recommended.

With all due respect to Steve who obviously doesn't like UAC... NEVER turn off UAC!!! It's the only pitiful protection you have against a poorly written OS that's a virus magnet! Don't make Windows less secure. This is your only protection over some malware trying to install software without you knowing about it. Yes, it's annoying but in your case it's extremely valuable. The vegas120.exe is digitally signed by Sony. Why is your copy not signed? (without UAC you would never know this)

You need to figure out why your copy of vegas120.exe is not signed. I would right-click on the executable, go to Properties, and then Signature, and see if it's signed by Sony. Maybe you've been attacked by malware?

I run Vegas Pro 12.0 in a Fusion VM with only 1GB of memory and it runs fine. This is not your problem.
