Sony Vegas Pro version 14 was installed and worked fine some days.

Then all FX failed to work inclusiv Mercellii. I tried to get support and now I have waited 1.5 month on reply and help. I believe that I have put in wrong computer id because I did not understand what type of data I should use. If I look att Sony Vegas Pro version 13 which is in the same computer, I can read the computer Id but in verson 14 there is written only "My computer". I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it gives no chance to put in the right computer id. So I suppose Magix must delete my license (which I suppose I can not do) and there after I can install it from the beginning. Do someone help me to do this? I have tried to get in touch via differnt channel and even NewBlue FX but it has not been the right way.

Thanks Cornico. Now I deleted the software SVP version 14 first in My account and then on my computer and then reinstalled it again. But it did not solve the problem that no FX works. Do I have problem with my hardware??

The first time I installed it it worked some days but something happened. I could use it so much so I understood it was a big improvment with verison 14 compared to ver 13. So I hope someone can help me to run the software.

Here is a copy from "My Account": Windows computer with:
- Windows 7 Professional, 64-Bit
- Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU950 @ 3.07GHz
- 16375 MB RAM.

I have tested different kind of FX and I believe that CPU accelarated ones is the best. Because the Version 13 works good and no changes has done by me when I run version 14 it is strange.

I just observed that in My Account I thought that my inactivation of the version 14 should delete what I had changed concerning Computer Identity before the inactivation. It is still there and further I observed that I had written one sign/caracter wrong so that can also be the reason. I tried to write the same computer id as in SVP13. Hence there is different computer id in My account compared to that which I can read in the window i SVP14 /Help/about/ Under the serial number of the software there I read "DINDATOR-DATOR". You wrote : The only things you need for a installation is a serial and email. But how can Magix has control of the 2 installions I am allowed to have if they don't have control over the computer id I have utilized for their software?

I can expect that at the activation the computer id is fetched automaticly whithout my action. Therefor it seems not have been done if my wrong written computer id is still there SVP14 /Help/about/ . I suspect that what I have described can be the reason for my problem. What do you bilieve?

You asked me "What's the setting of Split Screen View" You were right!!! It was FX bypassed.

What stupid thing of me to not notice that. Many thanks for your help. Why doing something simple when I can complicate it.
