This link was just posted on the FX1/Z1U forum at the DVI Community Web Board. It's a Power Point presentation from Sony on the Z1U. It may answer a question or two, or raise a hundred others.

Geez! I didn't know Sony had allowed this to go up. We were asked not to share it on the web. Definitely will raise questions... But it allows folks to see some great stuff and concepting from the camera.

That's a great price for the FX-1.
I hope they will be carying the Z1 too.

There is NO chance Best Buy will be selling the Z1U. The FX1 is marketed by the consumer division of Sony. The Z1U will be marketed by the broadcast/professional division and will be available through outlets like B&H Photo.

Spot: I don't know if Sony specifically allowed the posting of the Power Point presentation, I was told it shouldn't be done. However, since someone was brave / stupid enough to post it on their web site, I didn't see any harm in posting the link here on the forum.
