When I lived in London a glucose based "health drink" called Lucozade, as it's gimmic, came wrapped in an 85 Orange celophane that could be unwound and used as a filter gel to turn White (c6500K) flourecence into warm near Halogen 3500K. Is this still available, for if so I'll get my Mum to buy some and send me the wrappers, as it was about 90 cents US a bottle.

Y'know, I aint seen this wrapping for about 20 years . . . too many lighting people here nicking it?!?! Good tip - NOW I'm looking in the places Luco is sold. This could be the basis of a movie . . "Forever Amber" - "Solent Yellow" "Amber & Amber" "How Orange was My Valley" "Clockwork Orange"

My biggest fear would be that I would think that the material would NOT pass our H&S [Health & Safety ] reqs for fire risk? Yeah??

Grazie

If you need to gel a window to bring it down to 3200K, orange cellophane is adequately close to an 85 filter. Well, it was in this country when some years ago when I had to gel a great swarth of window at very low cost! They might have changed the formulation since then.
