SOT: Spinning image effect?

Remember the old Batman TV series, with the transition effect of the spinning picture with the Batman logo on top of it? Does anyone know of a plugin or how to achieve that spinning effect? (or even a video clip of something like that? - minus the Batman logo)

Effects like this are easy with Track Motion, Pan/Crop, and Keyframes.
Once you've got what you want you can save it as a preset and use it for transitions.
