SOT:Virtual Meeting of Forum Members (That's us)

I was disapointed at NAB to meet very few forum members. I was so hoping to put faces to names and charactures. Thinking on this game me the thought that as we are all in the communications/ audio visual game it might be fun if we all made a very short video, on any subject, that includes ourselves and then post them on some site. We would all get to see each other and a sample of our creative style. Anyone agree or care to suggest a place to park the short clips?

As far as putting faces to the names I could put mug shots.... oops, pictures of anyone that would like to share on my site. Also include a bio, personal history. Videos, probably should go on Kelly's site since there are tons of forum member videos there already.

Lets see how much interest there is.

The VegasEditors.com site allows members to post photos/details about themselves.

You can already check out quite a few faces there now.

Michael...

there's not a lot I can do about that... and in fact if your criteria for setting up a "Virtual meeting" is based upon seeing people you recognize... then I guess you are in a catch-22 position.

Of course many of the people who have uploaded photos likely go by another "handle" on these forums... so you may know them by another name.

There were a lot of people from the forums at the VASST/Sony party on the Tuesday night at NAB... if there ever was a place to meet many of the folks who hang out around here... that was it.

In any case... the VegasEditors.com can most definitely do what you are asking... at least as far as putting a face to the name. It's probably a good idea to include your "Sony forum username" in your details as well. That will likely help out.
