HI ALL!

I have installed a sound card into my system - AUdigy 2 ZS.

I have removed the BIOS setting for the previosu onboard sound.

When I go into Audio Hardware setting (under preferences) and try to select settings - it wont accept any audio input..

Now I cannot play my clips unless I revert back to Windows Driver settingsinside VEGAS.

Please help

Did you install the driver as well as the pci card? Sounds like a rather odd problem.

You'll hear from many that the SB sound cards are terrible for audio production. They're right! I've had an audigy and extigy in the past and had nothing but problems from them. If you can return it - do so today and get an M-Audio card or a Santa Cruz or something. Same price point, hassle free.

HI.

THanks for reply.

I guess I am stuck with it...I ma rather isolated so it would cost me a great dealto return it via post...

Yes, I did install the driver - correctly..

How do I test if Vegas has or has not detected the sound card?
