Sound Delay

I have been having difficulties with the sound while editing on Sony. There is a 2 second sound delay which gets quite frustrating while trying to do a precise edit. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

In all seriousness now, without telling us EXACTLY what A/V formats you are using, we can't help you.
