Just goto media play or curcuit city and other places like that. You can get sound effects CD's. I know there are many star trek sfx cd's out there. Of course most of the stuff is illegal to use in making video's unless you pay a fee (not the cost of buying the cd). Most cd's even say you can't put the music to picture/video w/o permission.

I am very pleased with SmartSound.

Another option is Music Bakery.

Um ... just don't expect this to be cheap. There's no great material that you may use for potentially commercial video that's inexpensive.

SmartSound does offer their material for less with a Home-Use Only license, but you couldn't distribute it if you go that route.

For good royalty free music and sound effects, I really like Sound Dogs - they offer music and effects from some of the best libraries in the world, at affordable prices.

Thanks,

Shawn
