Sound FX - Low End Rumble

Hey guys....

There's a certain sound FX I'm looking for. I was just watching my DVD of Sin City and during some rather heavy scenes, I noticed the soundtrack had a kind of low end rumble. It's a common practice among modern sound engineers in the film industry to underline the entire sound track at certain "high drama" moments with a very low "rumble."

If you know where I can find this sound, emulate this sound or download this sound, I'd appreciate this.

...I'm sure Ray knows that I'm talkin about.

You're also welcome to post what you have as a file attachment on my website, assuming it's not copyrighted. I'm still collecting data for my page, so in the meantime it can serve as a community stash. Then who knows, we can add it to some stock footage and call it a tutorial, like using sound fx for thematic emphasis.

Stan?!?

1- Video some heavy traffic

2- Capture into Vegas

3- Ditch the video

4- Get busy with the Audio!

I've used ALL types of "found" sounds and adding stretch+FX Echoes and multitracking with a tad of stereo panning I think I've come up with some FABO bottom rumble! Woah! Bottom-Rumble!!! That's a tech term.

But seriously, we have everyuthing at our fingertips. Well maybe not everything ..

Oh yes, I've also done some "Sounds-to-Cammie-Mic" for whooshes and so on. I gotta a l o w rumble from me making sounds into the cam-mic and applying FXs.

Smashing project Stan!

Eh? - . . These things are too TOO easy to knock out and make. That's the idea here - yeah? That's the idea of these Forums? To learn? Isn't it?

Let's see how Stan makes out - C'mon Stan?!?

I am but a poor unemployed college student, and a student without so much as a camera. My learning curve is limited to the provided materials. That is, until Sony Madison sends me that email telling me how much they've wanted a guy like me on their employment roster. :)
