i just started using vegas pro 15.0. i am creating a dance dvd. when the dvd is complete, there is sound for the first 6 dances, then just the video and no sound for the rest. when i look at the files in dvd arch, the sound files are there and they play fine. i don't know why they disappear in the burning process. help!!

Does this also happen when you play your DVD on your computer?

Also, it's not clear what you mean when you say "dances." Are you talking about 6 separate videos, each linking back to the main menu, or are you talking about one continuous video that includes 6 music videos?

It makes a huge difference.

Yes, the sound is there for the first 6 and then gone after that when i play the DVD on my computer as well. i have 15 different dances that are each a separate file. i'm making a menu based DVD and each button corresponds to one dance. so, it is not one continuous video. any advice is appreciated!

Are all the 15 dance files from the same source. Is it possible that the first six are different. It may sound silly but do the "silent" dances have audio when you play them on your pc with for example Windows Media Player?

The files are all from the same source. And yes, they all play with sound through windows media player

Can you post a screen capture of your DVDA timeline showing the problem files as well as the files that work?

(more than pic if necessary to show examples of both). You can upload them directly to your post.

Also when you burn is DVDA recompressing any of your audio?
