sounde forge equivilent?

can anyone recomend an application similaar to sounde forge for Macs?
i'm looking for something that can be used for sound synthesis and processing,

The only app that comes close is Bias Peak... though I recall reading Wavelab is now available for Mac.
How about SF w/ Bootcamp or another Windows boot utility.

You can, of course, run WIndows (and therefore Sound Forge), on a mac. And there are also Win emulators on macs that might work.
