Could someone tell me where I can get sounds like these weird sounds you hear on movies when things are getting exciting.

Have you looked on the SF "1001 Sound Effects" CD that comes with Sound Forge® XP Studio 5.0 (which you can also get with the Vegas Educational book)?

Also, some of the ACID loop libraries have sound effects.
