I answered this before but your post seemed to have disappeared ... so take 2 ...

The spacebar control is now an icon underneath the Preview Window.

Sorry for the disappearing post, I thought I had cracked it with the ini file and deleted it.

I'm not sure we are talking about the same thing. Basically, I'm having several issues with the mouse actions and crashes with V20, in fact with most versions going back to V4! Although I suspect Windows is the main culprit.

The main one, at the moment which is pi$$ me off, is V20 has lost the function to return to the point you placed the cursor on the timeline. I used to be able to press the spacebar and it would nip back the point I started so I could keep replaying the clip. I can't see that as a toggle on the preview video box, other than the 'edit visable buttons'

If you could be more specific, I would be most grateful.

Apologies ... I was looking at Vegas Pro 21. In Vegas Pro 20, the spacebar action is still selectable in Options/Properties/General via:

Try this with both enabled and unebaled and see if that meets your needs.
