How much do you you move in the video clip? If not much, you could create a mask by grabbing a frame of video, bring it into a photo editor, select yourself with a fairly broad feather, and delete (or delete the background). Save the image as a .png file which saves with alpha channel intact.

The png file will be above your video and will be used to mask out the background.

That's a very high-level overview of one way to do it. You should be able to Search for threads on this forum that give more detail on how to use masks and alpha channels. If not, post your questions here.

Good luck.

Not suire exactly sure what effect you are trying for, but I think a search on youtube or google for 'green screen' might be another avenue to help you acheive what you are looking for.Let us know. Cin

Best way is to shoot yourself in a dark room with lights that only light you. Have a black background.

Then you can tweak it if need be in the editing software.

Hi. This is easy to do with the Cookie Cutter FX. You're limited in the shape selection but if you shoot yourself against a black background and use the circle shape I'm sure it won't be noticed.
