"Speech to text" in Japanese

I haven't purchased vegas pro 21 yet, but does VEGAS Pro 21's "Speech to text" function support Japanese (that is, languages other than English)?

If not, I need that function.

@KenKen Short answer, Yes it does. Although I do not know Japanese I tried it out. I first typed an sentence in English in Vegas text to speech, then I let it translate in Japanese and added the generated Japanese speech to the timeline. Next I used Vegas speech to text to analyze the spoken Japanese and generate the Japanese text as a subtitle (it is even Japanese characters!).

@KenKen Mind you, Speech to text and text to speech is only available in the 365 subscription Vegas pro variants...

Speech to text works for many languages, Japanese included. 時々使う機会があります。

You might do a 1 month subscription if you want to test it out and are worried that it won't do what you need.

I find it useful for short videos but not transcribing longer ones as it times out somewhere past 40 minutes.
