Hello everybody.

How can I do the effect in V5?

I have filmed the sunrise, I took me 45mins to record it, after having it recorded , I tranfer to my pc.
I saved in my pc as .avi file format and then I used Combustion 3 to fix some color problem and render the video as .jpeg images sequences.

My question is, How can speed framesrates up in V5 to make the .jpeg sequences faster? I'd like to make the effect like show in the movie, the sunrise goes faster.

Thank for your time.

Why are you rendering the clip as JPEG images? Why not just speed up the video? Isn't that what you say you want?

Yes, I want to speed up the video, but you know that .avi movie file is too big (2gb each one, I have 4 files), so, I decided to render first to .jpeg files sequences to be a little more small.

What do you recomend me?

You're going to loose quality by rendering it to jpg. DV AVI would be better.

Just use a velocity evelope & the CTRL-DRAG method to speed it up. Render that out & do it again or how fast you want.

I belive Spot posted the link to a script that will speed stuff up however much you want. The thread was called "Cool Vegas Script" or something. It's only a few days old so a search would be helpfull.

Yeah, I just did this not too long ago, we had some cool storms in our area so I recodred video for a few hours of the cool clouds and sky. Imported it into Vegas, did a CTRL+Drag to make it faster, rendered to AVI-DV, then did it again and I got some nice looking fast video of the clouds moving.

Hello TheHappryFriar.

Thnks you for help ;)
I rendered using DV AVI a little big but it looks great. Now, when i watch the video i got impressed, it looks like some documental of discovery channel, ejejejejejeejej.

HI Jsnkc.

It seems good, what you have done.

Probably my next plan will be reversing a clio, like some video from Mtv, The ones that begin from the end and finish at the end ;), also as high speed.

See you ;).
