Speed up audio/video

I have a small clip that I want to speed up the audio on. I am able to do this by dragging the little yellow arrow and thus increase the speed to 1.5. I saved the .veg file and re-opened it and then rendered as an avi file.

When I play back the newly created avi file the audio is still real-time, 1.0. Any tips on how to do this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

That little yellow arrow (the scrubber) is only for controlling preview speed. It has no effect on rendered output. Probably the easiest way to speed up a clip is to Ctrl-drag the end of the clip back to the left. The farther you drag it, the faster it will play. You can also Ctrl-drag the end to the right to slow it down. The range is from 4X to 0.25X
