Speed up Nested Timeline Renders

Hello Vegsters!

I’ve got a Parent T/L with two Nested TLs. Each Nest has a Track Motion effect. One has a Scaled, Horizontal Motion and the other has a Scaled Vertical Motion. They work. What can I do to speed-up Preview and then Render. I’ve done a PreRender and it’s quite good. But is there anything I can do to speed up Preview and then Renders?

I'm not getting your gist, what is slow? When did you pre-render and what, to what end? Isn't playback of nested file on the parent timeline some sort of a "prerender" already. Or does Vegas try to play back, now, all nests in real time, as if they are all sitting on the main timeline? I honestly am uncertain of that.

There is the other issue: I mean, you have now, reportedly, the boffo rig of all time... If you can't achieve some sort of acceptable playback in real time, what hope is there for us peons...???

There is, to my mind, only one way, sadly, to work with VP, and that is to always have RAM preview working, and pre-renders, because real time playback has always evaded this program, no matter to which level of Hardware prowess we ascend.

You need a faster machine--aka--'You're gonna need a bigger boat.' LOL.

@wwaag - From your comment about needing a faster machine, can I therefore assume I’ve reached a Stress Test of my own that’s Topped-Out my MONSTA? I can live with that as with the other stress test it come within the top five.

Question: Do nests make their own Proxy Files? Is there anything clever to assist better Preview?
