Did anyone at NAB catch this? It looks interesting, but who knows? Could this be the leftovers from the now dead Speed Razor NLE--which for a few years was the software used for Newtek's Video Toaster 2? Some things look vaguely familiar from Razor... but who knows? Maybe NewTek will have a demo to download and try in the next few months.

It's not Speed Razor. It's an evolution of NewTek's VTEdit--the editor module previously tied to the VT card.

SpeedEDIT "undongles" the editor, adds HD support and nifty colour correction controls. Still not as many filters as Vegas but will probably work with HD much more quickly.
