Sorry, are you trying to split one MPEG into two, or are you tring to join two MPEGs into one?

Not that you can really do either, but you can "fake" both depending on what your overall goal is. What are you tring to accomplish on your DVD?

If you have two (or more) clips that you want to play in succession without being returned to the menu between them, then you need to change the end action for the first clip (this is in the Properties window). Change the Command to "Link" and Destination to the name of your second clip. Be sure you've added both clips to your project first.

If you want to "split" one MPEG into two, just drag it onto your menu twice and change the In / Out points for each instance. That's if you want both "halves" to be on the same disc but linked to different buttons.

On the other hand, if you're MPEG is too big for a DVD, and you're trying to split it up onto two DVDs, you'll have to do that outside of DVDA. It won't actually "cut" MPEG files.

If this info doesn't help you, please be more specific about what you're trying to accmoplish.
