split audio tracks

Just need some help with splitting the stereo audio into 2 mono tracks so I can work with them independantly. Can't seem to work out how to unlock them so I can put them on separate audio tracks. Also want to be able to set up nice level adjusts for dialogue and music mixing, and finally is there a way to process just one particular clip of audio with an EQ, rather than just putting an EQ across the whole track..Cheers for now John McCombie..Pinknoise Bristol. See This Thread

read all of it, the answer is there for your first question.

as for putting eq on a seperate clip, you can either move the clip to it's own audio track, or right click on the event and choose 'apply non-realtime fx' - this creates anther audio take - it is semi destructive in that it won't overight the original auido, but you can ajust it freely while listening to the track.

Here's a free script that will split the stereo track into two mono pieces for you.
