Split or recompress project

Some time ago I completed a DVD project that was 5.2GB in size. I used a DL DVD as a single layer was obviously to small. The client has now asked for 50 more copies. The problem is I do not have the Vegas (.veg) file. I only have the DVDA (.dar, ac3 & mpg) file. The client would like me to split the project on 2 single layer DVD's. My question's:
1. What would be the easiest way to split the project if I only have the DVDA files?
2. Can I further compress in DVDA from 5.2 GB to 4.7GB and if so, how do I do it?
3. Can you import a ac3 file into Vegas?

I placed this questions in DVDA forum as well and I hope I do not sound stupid.

I would suggest using DVD Shrink. It will make the video fit on a 4.7gig disk with minimal, if any, quality drop. It will keep all of your menu functions and chapters.

Thanks so much. I did not use DVD shrink before, however, I will download it and will give it a go. I hope I will be able to master it.

Thanks again
