spliting audio and video track

I have a couple of clips where I want to use the video from one and the audio from the other. Is there a way in Vegas 8 to do so?

Method #1. Use the "Ignore Event Grouping" option (should be on your toolbar).
Remember to disable it afterwards.

Method #2. Ungroup by clicking either the audio or video and press "U".
Move around as desired.
Click the video event, shift-click the audio event and press "G" to Group afterwards.
