I would like to know how to split screen in two. I know the Event pat/crop, but what I want to take left side of my video track 1 and right side of my video track 2. Videos are the same but in the first one, the caracter is on left side and in the second on right side. I want to split screen in the way to double the caracter without changing the background. I don't know if you understand... Sorry for my English... i'm french...

Play with Track Motion in 3D Source Alpha and let us know what you come up with!

Did you shoot the subjects in front of a green screen? Or with a locked down tripod in front of the same background? In either event, there are a couple of helps....
if you shot them in front of green, you need only use pan/crop to place them, and Chromakey to remove them from the shot.
If you shot them against the same background with a locked down tripod, Kevin Hicks has an excellent tutorial you can find on the VASST site. It's too long to re-write here.

Track 1 > Split Screen from Media Generators/Checkerboard
Track 2> Video for Left part of screen
Track 3> Video for Right part of screen

Track 1> Compositing mode to Multiply (Mask)
Split Screen media > drag out to the length you need and apply the Mask Generator FX
Track 2> make it a compositing child of Track 1
