Square Generated Media?

Hello, I'm trying to add a 'square' piece of generated media to the TL. , using the Event Pan/Crop tool. I have every maintain aspect ratio button 'off' I can find. Generated Media goes to the TL as 528x480, and I would like it to be 480x480. Sounds simple, but, its driving me nuts here. Any ideas what i'm missing? John.

Try turning off Device Aspect ratio in your preview window. (Right click, uncheck Device Aspect ratio)
you should then see your square as square.
Just as an added thought, you can also make generated media be whatever size you want, just tell it to be 480x480 in the generated media dialog. Of course, maybe you are creating a mask that moves or something, then you might need the pan/crop to shift the size of the mask?

Spot, Thanks for your quick reply. It's funny how you get so focused on one path and overlook the obvious. Editing the GM does the trick. I feel like Yogi Berra at the fork in the road when I took it. Over and over and over. Thanks again, John.
