"Squishing" film clips! - A potential viewing aid...

Have you noticed you can do the following…

1. Put the film cursor somewhere in the body of the clip; say the middle of the film clip.
2. You will notice that the timeline horizontal adjustment bar has, as it always does, two fine vertical dashes at each end.
3. If you position your cursor over say the left-hand dash, until the double ended arrow appears and hold down the left mouse button you can carefully “squish” all the film from the left of the timeline pane or you can reverse all this and select the right-hand dash – double arrow – left mouse button, and “squish” all the film towards the right hand side of the pane.

Yeah okay, so what? Well I’ve found it an added bonus to finding out very quickly where I am. Give it go. It needs some practice.
