.srt insertion bricked my project.

Hello everyone, I'm currently on MAGIX VEGAS Pro 16.0.0.352 (x64), my OS is windows 11 and i run on an I-7-8700 and an RTX 3070, I recently imported an .srt file to have subtitles in my video, it all worked fine, until reopening the project. Everytime i try to delete something it crashes, if I wait for it to all load completely it crashes, if i try to render it crashes, everything i do seems to make the software crash and i have no idea on how to proceed. My allocated RAM is 4.5Gb, and i have tried with gpu acceleration ON and OFF. I have also tried clearing the cache completely and setting the program on high priority in the task manager. Other vegas instances work perfectly fine, just that one project. I have also tried clearing space in both my disks and have 30Gb free on my C: (the OS and vegas disk). Please help. Thank you for your time everyone.

@pepino It could be that your project got corrupted somehow. Changing the application priority is usually not a good idea. Since other projects do seem to work OK, I would suggest you create a new empty project, keep it open and open a second instance of Vegas (=your "faulty" project). Then select everything in the "faulty" project (e.g. use ctrl -A) and drag en drop everything in the new fresh empty project, save the new project, and hopefully the issue is gone.

Nope, i'm unable to drag the timeline of the faulty project to the empty one, it just tries to change levels on the tracks of the faulty timeline.

I have tried using Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V on the timeline and it pasted everything into the new project, and it now works, thank you everyone <3
