stabilization controls in VEGAS 13 Pro grayed out

My video stabilization controls (specially the "Apply" button) are all grayed out...help pls

Rule of the thumb: No analyze no Apply.

How did you add that effect?

In VPro 13 it must be added as Media level-FX on a clip or a subclip.
